Follow local delivery updates
Planzer deliveries can be part of the same dashboard as Swiss Post and DHL parcels, reducing the need to check several tracking pages.
Parcel labels and status badges help make each delivery recognizable at a glance.
Timeline-first tracking
A timeline is useful when delivery events use short status names or when a parcel receives several updates close together.
ParcelTag keeps the history readable so you can understand whether a delivery is still moving or needs attention.
Planzer tracking number format
Planzer parcel numbers are typically alphanumeric and printed on the shipment label or shared in the sender confirmation. The exact length and prefix can vary by service.
Paste the number exactly as shown on the label or email; ParcelTag normalizes whitespace and stores the canonical form for repeat lookups.
About Planzer
Planzer was founded in 1936 by Max Planzer and has remained family-owned across three generations. Today the group employs more than 6,800 people across 68 locations in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Liechtenstein, and Hong Kong, operating a fleet of over 2,500 trucks. Annual group turnover reached CHF 1.08 billion in 2022.
Planzer built its core business in general cargo and groupage freight for business customers. In 2018 it launched Planzer Parcel to enter the home delivery market for private recipients — expanding beyond its traditional business-to-business roots to serve the growing Swiss e-commerce market.
Planzer Parcel status updates and delivery confirmation
Planzer Parcel uses a lightweight status model with fewer intermediate scans than major international carriers. Recipients receive an email or SMS notification when the parcel is dispatched and a second notification on the delivery day. The most actionable status is "Out for delivery", which means the driver has the parcel on their route.
After delivery, Planzer drivers take a proof-of-delivery photo which is visible in the recipient portal under Delivery confirmation — useful for confirming where a parcel was left if it is not immediately found. A "Delivered" status includes a timestamp alongside the photo record.
