1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or otherwise using ParcelTag, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What ParcelTag is
ParcelTag is a free, personal hobby project that lets you track parcels across supported carriers in one place. It is provided free of charge, as-is, with no service-level guarantee. There is currently no paid tier.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- One account per person. Do not share your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law.
- Attempt to overload, scrape, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or other users' data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the service without permission.
- Use automated tools to create accounts or interact with the service at scale.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Upload content that is illegal, malicious, or violates third-party rights.
We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether conduct constitutes a violation of these terms.
5. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate any account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe the account is being abused, used to harm the service or others, or is otherwise in violation of these terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when possible, but are not obligated to do so.
You may delete your own account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone.
6. Parcel tracking data
Tracking information is fetched from carrier websites. Its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness depend entirely on the respective carrier. ParcelTag makes no guarantees about the correctness or availability of tracking data.
7. Intellectual property
The ParcelTag software, design, and brand are the property of the operator. You retain ownership of any data you submit (tracking numbers, labels). You grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
ParcelTag is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. As a hobby project, it may be unavailable, slow, or inaccurate at times. Use it accordingly.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, ParcelTag — including missed deliveries, data loss, or service interruptions.
10. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The "last updated" date will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
