Track Chronopost with context
Chronopost events are stored as a timeline, so you can follow a parcel from handover through hub processing, delivery route, pickup-point availability, or final delivery.
This is useful for express shipments where a missed delivery, Predict reschedule, or pickup-point redirect can change what you need to do next.
Chronopost tracking number formats
Chronopost tracking numbers commonly contain 13 characters. Some international references use the postal S10-style format with two letters, nine digits, and an FR suffix, such as XA123456789FR.
Use the full number from the merchant email, Chronopost notification, shipping label, or pickup notice when adding the parcel to ParcelTag.
About Chronopost
Chronopost is the French express parcel carrier in La Poste Group’s Geopost network. It focuses on time-sensitive parcel delivery for businesses and consumers in France and internationally.
Chronopost deliveries may be completed at home, through a Pickup location, or by a rescheduled delivery flow when the recipient is unavailable.
Chronopost status messages explained
"Pris en charge" means Chronopost has accepted the parcel. "En cours d’acheminement" means it is moving through the express network. "En cours de livraison" means it is on the delivery route. "Mis à disposition" means it is ready for collection from an agency, Pickup point, or relay location.
"Avis de passage" or recipient-absence statuses usually mean delivery was attempted and the recipient should follow the Chronopost instructions for redelivery or pickup. Incident, customs, or delay statuses should be checked on the official Chronopost page for the latest action required.
