Track 4PX with context
4PX tracking events are stored as a readable timeline, making it easier to follow a parcel from seller handover in China through line-haul movement, export and import customs, last-mile carrier handoff, and final delivery.
This is useful when a 4PX shipment is only one of several cross-border orders arriving in the same week from different marketplaces, since each parcel keeps its own status, ETA, and event history rather than being lost in a list of tracking numbers.
4PX tracking number formats
4PX order numbers use a recognisable format: the prefix "4PX", followed by 11 digits, and the country suffix "CN" — for example, 4PX3002939103385CN. The full reference is printed on the shipping confirmation, the marketplace order page, or the dispatch notification email.
4PX is a logistics aggregator, not a single carrier: it books capacity across airlines, postal networks, and last-mile partners. Some 4PX shipments are therefore tracked under both the 4PX order number and a downstream last-mile number (such as a USPS, Royal Mail, or local postal reference). When adding the parcel to ParcelTag, use the 4PX order number as it appears on the marketplace.
About 4PX
4PX (递四方速递, "For Perfect X-border") is a Chinese cross-border e-commerce logistics company founded in 2004 and headquartered in Shenzhen. It is closely linked to the Alibaba ecosystem and handles order fulfilment, international line-haul, and last-mile delivery for sellers on Tmall Global, AliExpress, Shein, Temu, and independent Shopify-style stores shipping out of China.
Rather than operating one end-to-end network, 4PX combines its own overseas warehouses and IT platform with partner airlines and destination-country postal or parcel carriers. This is why a 4PX shipment often shows Chinese origin events under the 4PX number and then hands off to a local carrier for the final delivery leg in the destination country.
4PX status messages explained
"Pending" or "Information received" means the seller has created the 4PX order but 4PX has not yet physically collected the parcel. "In transit" covers line-haul movement: the parcel has left China and is moving between hubs, in flight, or awaiting customs clearance. Customs-related events can appear here and may take several days depending on the destination country.
"Arrived for pickup" means the parcel has reached a collection point (locker, post office, or pickup partner) and is ready for the recipient to collect. "Out for delivery" means it is on the last-mile vehicle heading to the delivery address that day. "Delivered" means the parcel has been handed over — either to the recipient, a neighbour, or a reception desk. "Delivery abnormality" or "Exception" signals a problem such as an address issue, customs hold, or failed attempt and should be checked on the official 4PX track page for the action required. "Returned" / "Returning" means the parcel is being sent back to the sender.
